Heavy Rain

DeVone Taft 1979 (Michigan)

Hear the melodious sound of heavy rain

Each and every droplet entertains

A host of rhythms for my brain

Volleying 'gainst my window pane

Ye slumber to the soothing sound

Relax the soul when rain falls down

Among the cloud then to the ground

In the air and all around

Now drops flitter float fall down
