Reality Of The Heart...

It's hard to understand the reality of the heart,
You see, love can blind you right from the start.
You can be friends or lovers it really doesn't matter,
When your heart's been broken - it's your dreams that shatter.
We've all been hurt before this much is ture.
How many times can your heart be broken before it says it's thru?
I've been hurt so much now my hearts almost ready to bust,
The hard fact is for me there's no one alive that I can trust.
I just want to be loved for the man I want to be,
Why is this asking too much - can't anyone in this world understand me?
I'm a hopeless romantic of the few still left alive,
I live for the heat of passion not for the lies or jive!
I love candlelight dinners and walks in a sun lit park,
Giving a body massage or making love in the quiet of the dark.
To me there's no love in life without passion,
I guess you could say I enjoy being a little old fashion.
Without love in your life you might as well be dead,
I don't want anyone playing games with my heart or my head.
If you care show me - if you don't then leave me alone,
I've got to be me I can't be what I'm not or someone's clone.
I'm a man of feelings I've expressed some here for you,
