Lessons In Love...

Robert Catron 1963 (Kansas)

They say all is fair in love and war,
If that's true there's no need to keep score.
Ever disagree on who's wrong or who's right,
Let's just get along and put an end to the fight.
Let's just talk - work it all out right there,
We'd have more time to show we really care.
No fight on what's for dinner can't you see,
How much more peaceful and quiet it would be.
Let's spend time together - happy as we can be,
Loving each other calmly just like the sea.
Let's give our love a calm and real chance.
We might just find a real love - at first glance.
Reach out to God - and He will show you the way,
Take time to thank Him each and every day.
So next time you wonder - is there real love with care,
Just start with yourself - reach out - it's there.

Thank you for your kind words. The Lord put it on my heart some time ago to write and express my walk with Him, and from there, it just began to flow out of me. I strive to be very honest with my writing and draw from real life experiences and I'm starting to see that people are relating to it.
