Self Love

Self love.
To achieve and it acquired.
Does not or often,
Develop from neglect.
Or a lack of discipline to get.
Although that may be,
An ingredient one may perceive.
On a journey early in life one takes,
Without receiving encouragement.
Or shown what they have chosen to do,
Is not accepted to expect...
One would chose a path.
Going in a different separate way.

A self love could come,
From evaluating mistakes one has done.
And not to admit to anyone,
That path they had taken...
Was not so easy to achieve.
With obstacles and negativity.
On a path to believe,
Of being deceived by their own...
Dreams to wish them into reality!

Then...
One day,
It occurs in one's mind to question.
With time to waste.
Is the task too difficult to face?
Or...
Is it their faith for attention wished,
More wanted to replace.
Could that be a priority?
Could that be a reason,
One on a path to achieve their task.
Would leave it behind.
With alibis and excuses made.
From them nobody asks.

Then it occurs in one's mind.
With time known to waste,
About what others may think.
Knowing if it had not been,
For self love and discipline...
To achieve what they believe,
Could be done without neglect.
It matters not how deep one's love may be.
Regardless.
Since what is eventually achieved,
Will be disbelieve anyway.

Even for the one,
Keeping their faith to hold on done.
Left surprised by their own accomplishments.
Hoping.
Yet not expecting them to come.
But...
Witnessing for themselves,
With love kept for self and faith to keep.
Can prove with it done to do.
Not to continue to doubt or question!
