Too Much Nonsense

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

People are made to believe,
Too much nonsense.
A little at a time to digest,
Is better than being overwhelmed by it.
That to do makes people crazy.
You know,
The kind of craze...
To make dysfunctions,
More normal these days to want more...
Displayed.
At least dysfunctions had been noticeable.
Remember when they were?

However...
Today?
More noticeable are people,
Comfortably out of their minds.
As if created by the master of fraud.
One capable to sell deception bought.
Leaving no one complaining,
About having buyer's remorse.
Or demanding to be forgiven,
For endorsing to support...
A hoodwinking to dupe,
Even trained monkeys...
With skills to use the dictionary,
Can spell and know the definition...
Of what a moron is.
Whether dressed to impress or not!

And the people who ask,
'What in Heaven's name is going on?'
Count on them being the culprits,
Standing in the way...
Of any progress to achieve it.
And THAT is what's going on!

But then...
Idiots once proud to be fools,
Will never notice what they do...
To prevent the understanding,
Of what moving forward takes.
Or the effort to endeavor it means!
