Do not complain if it should rain
Nor be upset if you get wet.
You can't control a hiding mole
And you can't be all things to me.

Please do not try to learn just why
The world won't turn the way you yearn,
Because life will confuse until
You do believe you can achieve.

It is okay to go your way
Despite the fact some will react
And not support the way you sort
Priorities as if to please

The surging crowd who says out loud,
"Be just like us or we will fuss!
We know what's best for all the rest!"
Please do not change or rearrange
