I am Here to stay

In his fable world, yearning for love,
like a child that never grows.
Lingering to a kiss, surrendering to a lip,
maybe an embrace, a soft caress?
Seeking a truth, not a fragment exists.

Needing her space, closes her eyes,
feeding the flame of her soul,
the fire within, a braze she bares
blinding the light, a soothing delight.
He knows he lost, it’s time to go…
I am here to stay.

She looks away, no feeling to share,
grating quietness, serenaded by breath.
His in emotional turmoil, everlasting despair.
I am oblivious to it….
I am here to stay.

Master of her heart, I own her soul,
blend her parts,  the one to hold.
He’s the one to spare.
Not sorry for what he feels
I am here to stay.

Mystic on her kitchen shelf
A broken cup, reminisce of ourselves.
Wasting his time, he tries to dwell
I am in between. He must go…
I am here to stay.

Close the door, leave all behind
You need to reset, restart and forget
I need to enjoy…
