Selenophile And Moon
Selenophile And Moon
Moon casts her silvery light upon me
In the darkness she shines and glows
A crystal shadow to illuminate my way
And I feel her celestial affections
Touch me ever so tenderly
As subtle as soft water
On my luminous skin.
Moon goes with me quiet and gently
In the night we walk together
Even as she orbits Mother Earth
My world centers on her
A nocturnal universe unfolds
A canopy of stars surrounds us
And I am moved in awe.
Inside my body blood flows as a river
Feelings stir me into reverence
My eyes are captured
By the aperture of amorous allure
Speaking silently of serenity
We understand each other
A selenophile and moon in love.
I wonder what is to become of me
As uncertainty approaches
The future appears darkly
Yet my cosmic companion calms
My fears as they disappear
Her light brings hope
I will never walk alone.
