Lines and borders

Dean Tice 1993 (Tirana)

In the lines of growing madness
Skin is scarred by claws of sadness
There lies someone split in pieces
Feeling how existence ceases

When the empty covers shoulders
Guarded by imagined borders
Comes a voice that softly whispers
All your feelings hide in blisters

Comes a voice that calls the knifes
Hurt yourself, let go of lies
Fills your veins with raging anger
Whispers gently, just surrender

Anger leaves and you feel free
For two hours, maybe three
You hear heavy footsteps near
Find yourself shackled by fear

So begins the quest for numbness
Drown yourself in liquid sadness
Knock on doors for just a feel
Waste your days in the unreal

Everything has just lost meaning
The heart threatens to stop beating
Your real self just seems so far
You’ve forgotten who you are

So you search yourself in mirrors
Undisturbed by visual terrors
Search yourself in strange encounters
Sewing borrowed cloths of mounters

Stuck in splitting, seem naive
I just hate you but don’t leave
I just leave you when i love
My emotions trying to shove

You’ll abandon me, i leave first
I can’t control this hurting thirst
It’s that hurt I so much crave
Living as pain’s devoted slave
