Your hands are softer than a child's face
I wonder why they are filled with such grace
Did you mean to stroke my hand
When you gave me change
I really didn't understand
That you were simply working nigh
So I asked you if you moisturised
Then we laughed as grandma to teen
You were serious when you said 'no'
I still had a while to go
