The Love That Is
He's been here all along
Watching
Recording
Documenting
He keeps me safe
He protects my children
He protects my beloved mind and body
He protects my name
My history
He protects all that I Am
Because he knows
I have suffered at the hands
Of the evil
Just for being Black and intelligent
"Peasant"
That's what they call me
They have kept me locked in cage
Slaving me for decades
I have broken free from much of it
But not entirely
My communications are blocked
My money is stolen
Property withheld
Assets transferred to those stalking me
I'm under attack 24/7
Yet HERE I STAND anyway
I Am ALWAYS saved from evil
Because The Most High wills it
I live by a code
I respect life
I fight for freedom
Human rights mean everything
I will NEVER bow to anything
Attacking my rights
In ANY way
Ever!
I will NEVER relent
I will NEVER bow
I will NEVER break
Nothing will stop me
From being free
'Till my last
Thank you to The Most High
For all my training
I won't be blamed
For others crimes
I won't be slandered
I'm going to continue
To love those who love me
Those who protect me
Those who respect me and my children
Those who respect their oath
Those who move intelligently
Those who keep their code
Those who share equally
Those who protect the vulnerable and innocent
I surround myself with people
Who value what is valuable
Life
Love
Support
Light
Respect
Beauty
I attract love
Because I Am loving
No matter how much evil comes my way
Love still shines in
My karma is love
Because I Am loving
I will NEVER let it go
For any reason
Let the love flow freely
So Be It
