When the Weather is Cold

When the Weather is Cold

He hanged his hands on the burglarproof,
Staring at the vendor
Who struggled to answer
Him.
He had requested three times
But the vendor failed to comprehend.
CD he had been saying.

The hospital had been encouraging people
To use it.
It saved stress and damages.
She searched through the cabinets. He stared
Shivering; his bones chilled.
There was a downpour, and still drizzling.

She walked towards the burglary and opened.
He rushed into the store.
The smell wasn’t worse than a hospital.
She picked a pack and dragged him by hand
Into the injection compartment

And spread the entrance curtain.
He injected her and they felt warmer
in the cubicle.
He had promised his visitor he would purchase
Something at the store.
She would also be anticipating.

He banged the burglary and rushed away.
The vendor smiled
And returned to the vendor’s seat; and sighed.
The cold night had other stories.
