LIFE WHERE DOES THE DAY GO?

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

I sit here day after day, night after, with more questions than answers about life and wondering if you should have ever stopped believing and reading the good book, so I found an open copy up on the shelf just where I left it full of dust and sand full of unknown places and just like myself a mysterious a man.

The day falls, but where does it go to another sleepless night without any rest? There is only one way out of here, and the voices of these dreams carry so vividly through the fall air that I got myself a gypsy soul since I was born. I got the mark on my mind and my hand. My mama said boy, one day you will find yourself the plan to live your life and place foot in one place where you stand.

With the evil eyes of someone with a broken heart, it all seems like the same themed dream where we must go back to the start to find the kingdom and steal the riches and gold f*ck that bullshit story that some of us were told you are going nowhere, kid.

What they did not know was that when they were laughing and joking, the buck finally stopped here, and I made my bid. All they said was hell life; where did the day go?
