Schoolyard Games

My Boundaries are not your playgrounds to be played on.

Do not think you can keep pushing them with no detention.

Teeter Totters do have a hard stop you know.

One minute up, one minute down with no other direction to go.

Feel free to hop on off of this merry go around that we call a marriage if you can’t respect my boundaries.

About this poem

Firm boundaries in a relationship, with a decisive yet playful tone.
