Free verse
I view dark celebrity
from the club crowd.
People drink in the neon night,
gray theater of my token dream
overwhelming and cold.
The airport of my love dogs
the jazz of our small sky.
Come clean. Elevate me
before I ask less of you
and rush after her asking
for that lofty feeling
getting drunk on her music.
