Not The Last Time Heard

Locked together in division.
With no decision to agree.
Many in positions of leadership,
From different demographics...
Selfishly to represent,
Promises made to their constituents.

And on and on goes pointless arguments.
Debated to increase,
The turning up the heat!
With a keeping to believe,
What they do is not defeating.
Yet...
This is not the last time nor is it the first,
Heard to hear repeated.
As if to quench thirst,
To need and rehearse the cursing of words.

Imploding leaving everyone left to moan.
Imploding left to leave everyone to groan.

When has it been a down to stay.
To remain that way not go up one day.
Many are made to believe what they see.
However isn't history created to deceive.
Until all the people want their wishes,
Received.

This is not the last time nor is it the first.
Heard to hear repeated.
Dreams to wish them wanted,
Takes effort to endeavor.
For them to come and get.
Without the promises,
Made from others to represent.

But then time spent,
For others to deliver...
What they say to believe it meant,
Is a disappointing way to stay...
Imitating conflicts.
And division to follow and remain to obey.

This is not the last time nor the first repeated.

People who allow their minds to be used.
Can expect more of their lives to be abused.
By others who introduce,
Conflict and confusion.
Done with amusement and making fools.
Until the people shake awake,
To accept the proof of truth kept pursued.

'But...
What is the truth?'

'Research to seek it with a thirst first.
Research it.
Lonely is the journey.
Yet lessons will be learned to earn them.
Researching,
May hurt...
Accepting beliefs deceived!'

'But...
I am not rhymically inclined!'

'Huh? What?'

'Your rhythm and mine,
Are quite different!
No one I know has been born the same way!'
