Seasonality

His feathers still brown
slowly transforming
from a young swan to growth
has left the nest allready

Three members of the family stayed
one had left before
it was completely white from birth
never saw such thing before

On the wide open lake
there are more feathered ones
like seagulls and ducks
but also some other birds

Gathering together in fall
on their way to winter
where ice can be the gate
between dying and living

As a group they are able
to keep an ice hole open
helping each other
on their way to survive

Writing is a need like eating and sleeping. I think we are all wondrous creatures who deserve to love ourselves and live in freedom. I like to participate in cases which can make a difference for myself, my surroundings and the earth. My wish: humanity in a non-dualistic society. more…

Love the imagery. The harshness of life juxtaposed with the beauty of new life. I especially like the image of keeping the ice hole open. Great work.
