Native Americans 2

Tribes surviving, once were thriving;
Buffalos the same.
So high in numbers, expert hunters,
But then the Pilgrims came.

At first good friends, each group would lend
And give what others need.
But time went by and they did try
To stay away from greed.

But human nature, so much greater
Replaced the promises.
The settlers stole what was their goal;
The land, as history says.

There's still a fight for every right
Despite the lives it cost.
It's such a shame they still must claim
The life that's almost lost!
