Comfort For All

If only I had a Day~
  A Day so far away

Where sadness and pain~
  Could never find me

            ~

Where nothing is complete~
  And nothing is unfinished

Where worries and concerns~
  Could not surround me

            ~

Where peace is just a given~
  The fragrant smell of living

Where known is not unknown~
And only Love exist amongst the brilliance

            ~
A place to be alone~
  Yet never be alone

Where loneliness is
  Completely nonexistent

            ~

That special place exists~
I just must take a day

A day to go away~
I do not need to go so very far

            ~

For deep within my heart and soul~
I find the warmth and golden glow

Where God Lives~
  To comfort all his children

                                                                                     c
                                                                                    bpp

About this poem

This is where I go to get away from all that I can no longer handle. I hope everyone who reads this, gets a moment of comfort from All of the Evil that seems to be around us these days. We are all stronger than we know.

Amen for peace. Please read, review and rate my most recent online poem on poetry.com composed in the wake of the Middle East turmoil entitled “Warfare and Peace: An Allegorical Tale.” Thanks. Karl Constantine Folkes
