Though nobody else could see,
I knew what was best for me.
Went the winding way I knew I had to go,
There were some who said I should not, though.
I took the long road nobody else would
Just because I knew I could.
I took the hard road I found.
You know the world could not keep me down.
Going my way, I know it is true,
Was the road that led, me to you.
...Me to you!
Back when, I had two ways to go
Either way, I could have gone.
Looking down those roads was not clear
Where life could go from here.
Thought long and hard about what to do.
Could not see where those two roads led to.
I knew I would never, never be coming back.
No regrets, that is a fact!
Tell you now with a sigh,
Ages and ages hence,
Two ways I could have gone.
The long and winding road I traveled on
Took me to the top, not down.
Glad to say, I did it my way;
It made such a brighter day.
I did not let anything get in the way.
With only one chance to find what life could be,
I found you and the life I dreamed would be!
