Secret love in my heart
Lenamarie Clark 1981 (Indianapolis,Indiana)
So I said goodbye for the final time, goodbye to my childhood best friend,my first girl crush.
We're still there when we both need each other as friends.
However
I'm secretly in love to someone new.
I don't know if she knows cats got my tongue to tell,i just wish her well. I want to get to know her better as friends. Someday, I will say.
For now, I will enjoy her from a distance and hide my secrets well.
If only she knew what my feelings are, no, it's not a crush because I don't rush.
My heart is catching feelings. What's the big deal,I feel good for once
much needed when im feeling down.
Someday, my feelings will come true she so soft and sweet. I wish I could have a hug one day maybe...
Those bold eyes, oh my...
I'll just pretend in my mind that she's here
pretend im combing her hair, pretend lots of fun things, some that she may have never gotten from a man.
I pretend even the romance god, I can still smell her scent,I know she's heaven sent.
If her and I was one I will write her a poem daily, even make a book for all the love and care i have for her that's how much I care for her soul.
I sense the sad in her eyes I wished I knew why.
I want to help her wipe them clean oh this is just only a dream, someone slap me please.
She doesn't know how special she is to me if only she knew if only someday she knew, for now, it's my secret, and I will bury it just like the rest of my secrets and keep them at bay what the hay.
Some day, I will say, "But just not today, so have a great day...
Oh secret love you open my heart and make me feel happy apart of me is missing and it's her.
I blow her a kiss and hope she don't miss...
