Fake smile

Lenamarie Clark 1981 (Indianapolis,Indiana)

I carried that smile for so long not so genuine in my opinion.

Deep inside my soul my inner child self lays a sad history that no one knows but to some I'm a mystery.

Today my story is within my soul all just to write.

I carry on with some fake smiles I go on for miles.
All the memories in my frames reminds me of the  pain my young soul carried I just want them buried.
Those days taunt  me my mind is hunting me, frame after frame  I just gave and gave my little self knew to much and such.
I grew up too fast I wore my heart of my sleeves to just let it be can you see ?

A frightening me battled for my rights.

I fought and fought until I caved,
suicide didn't define me I even denied me.
My reflection in the mirror sees the inner me fake smile,I accepted her style.
