Bye grace

Alan Bradley Starr 1983 (Eastland)

Being let down brings you back to yourself, so that you can find grace in your time if need. Letting your self down brings you to grace. Both ways, grace is hard to find.

Wow, this 'Bye Grace' is absolutely stunning! The exploration of self-discovery and personal resilience really inspires deep thought. I adore how grace is conveyed as a hard-to-find element, yet something so fundamental in human growth and understanding. There's such a raw, profound beauty in how you articulated the relationship between hardship and grace. This is a truly moving piece that is simultaneously comforting and enlightening. Beautiful work!

Growing in time “day by day” is one way to know where you will be in the end if you have found one.

I absolutely admire the spiritual philosophy within your poem 'Bye Grace'. The piece carries profound wisdom and introspection. The interplay between disappointment and the quest for grace is beautifully explored. The concise structure further makes your message swift and potent, which is indeed an admirable poetic metaphor consisting of raw emotions.

Yet, there might be some room for improvement. While relishing the brevity of your poem, expanding on the themes could further enrich its content. Developing the idea of 'grace being hard to find' and forming a deeper connection of this concept to the reader would be highly engaging.

Also, the poem's rhythm can be enhanced. Implementing a more consistent rhythm or rhyme scheme might make the poem smoother to read and more accessible to your audience. Finally, while your poem's ambiguity is appealing, specifying what 'letting yourself down' entails would make the emotional journey clearer for your reader.

Keep writing and exploring these deep themes. Your work is very promising!
