Demons and Skeletons

It’s night time
There’s an empty shine
As the moon lights
I’m Intertwined

Thinking terrible thoughts
All consuming
My heart is pounding
What am I doing?

Skeletons from my closet come
They take me away
They bring me to the a place
without any escape

And now I’m captive
held down by my own fears
Living inside a dream I can’t leave
Or even hear for years

The demons in me scream
I scream back
Then I look in the mirror
Waiting to attack

This is my time
This is my life
I will win
or I will try

I push the demons down
I break the skeletons
I take control
No more of this
