Sincerely, Emotionally Scarred

Sad times are here,
Good times have faded.
Memories I hold on to,
And the love feels sedated.

I’m at a time in life,
Where I’m no longer at peace.
Being far away from where your heart is,
Is leaving me emotionally wrecked and weak.

I was on a path of two roads,
And I took the one less traveled.
I see what’s waiting for me in the end,
So I’ll never throw in the towel.

Finding your one true love,
Really makes you appreciate life.
One step closer to a goal,
That’s making you become my wife.

It’s still too early to determine,
But never to early to see where it goes.
It’s better to just stay on this path,
Because it’s only God who knows.

There’s nothing wrong with crying;
Get it all on the outside.
Release all the pain and suffering,
That we tend to hold inside.

Surround yourself with positivity,
Because the negativity will come.
The battle between the two is rough,
But it’ll eventually end with one.

Check on your people,
Even if they say they’re ok.
It’s easy to hide true feelings from the world,
Because people believe you’ll be in the way.

Everyone struggles,
Everyone goes through tough times.
But in the end the only thing that matter is,
Are you going to catch it in time.
