U.nique S.ouls

Bringing passion,
from a well at depth inside

Where no touch of fear
nor false sense of pride

Resides.

Sparks glistening like candlelight
Reflecting from tearful eyes.

Moistened lips, softly whispering
a song no one else can hear.

In tears.

Simultaneously from afar
 we sing of love unbound

Lifting weary minds
with sad streams of thought

Swept by unfulfilled promises.
Gentle yet painful emotions

bringing joyous cries.

Through the empty space between us
As fresh hope arrives

Settling into quiet places
where only the most treasured of dreams

reside

With nowhere new
left to either run or hide.

(Right back where we started)

Slowing my heartbeat rhythm now.
Pulse, signals in a steady drumbeat.

My soul energies gently effervesce
 into my dreams. Gently breathing,

Chest heaving like waves
which rise and fall

Blowing smoke rings
in the cool damp air

Issuing a tattoo

lost in your embrace
Held closely to kiss

a brief reply

To this dilemma we face …
without faltering

Day by day

step by step
side by side

Through these uncharted waters,
we ply

Unafraid of enormous risks …
of uncertainties

Cast gently adrift
with passions gift

like falling rain
One warm summers night

of gentle kisses
On and on we glide

with side effects

Elevate the mood
from imperceptible lows

To spellbinding highs,
building momentum

Trying to find that place within
Where our rhythms naturally coincide.

You and me as the moon and sea
Turning with the tidal flow of the universe

And so, as the sun works its magic
Deep within the burning sands

where we As soulmates born
do more together grow

In ways most meaningful
Becoming ever so much more complete.

Now and then, when finding myself
In the mix Sifting/mixing/blending

As if kneading the dough of yesterdays.
Letting it rise naturally

to be placed in the oven Baked
into the breads of tomorrow

Watched over carefully,
by us

Here and now
Unique
