Contingent upon what
you choose to believe
Conspiracy or natural disease
Change is a verb set in motion
Communicable and Indisputable

Capsized in the chaos
Fear is the reckoning for those
who have never been afraid
For those who reside within the
fabric of fear
Cops and Robbers have always
been criminals

caring
compassion
culture
community
crisis
complicit
created
coerced
committed
causation
confined
communicate
Continue to
create yourself
Into someone you can be proud of

About this poem

Written during the early onset of the Covid experience, I wanted to write a poem that reflected my circumstances without using the only word people were saying.
