Falling teardrops

Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)

Falling... teardrops

Creating ripples
of the fluidic fabric
in our lives

Rhythms of vibrations
of all what we aspire

Every phase of our lives
given reason if we are so, inspired

we find ourselves

Perfecting our form for the entry point
For the perfect swan dive,

just shy of the arc of the moment
in those who pause to reflect

The place where our futures
start awakening within

their embryonic skin

Then, sensing the current
of the emotion

Upon the rise and ebb
of universal tides at flow

As intuitions lead us
to one another

to a point
Where they coincide

otherwise, passion for conflict,
will merge and collide

making timing shift

A little too far left or right
and leave us only watching

our lost futures as they slip on by

While we dream away
half alive

The echoes of intention
what remnants of our passions

lost in our suspension of time, in life
As fluidic echoes of teardrops, disconnect

Fall through empty spaces,
never quite erasing traces of mistakes,

old/new/ones we’ve yet to make

Ones spanning from the cradle to the grave,

between molecules broken free
from the wall of silence which divide us

from our loving dreams

While trapped behind
time spent alone

Held within the shadows
of our separate shells

In hopes that we’ll succeed,
whenever we find the will

To germinate the seeds
for our fortunes

Once planted, lovingly
to freely grow

And the means
to transcend the urge

To remain true to our feelings,
get used

to

Breaking free
of our pattern
of persistent failures

Learning to get more comfortable
with cheating fate

Rather than
just to be resigned
to following

The past pathways of misery,

Find somewhere in our spirit-will
the strength To break

from the pattern of past mistakes
to overcome our weeping trails of woes

Swing our parties do si do.
No longer satisfied with the consolation prize

Feel free to experience love

Let the natural rhythm in our lives

Once again, our true spirit’s flow

Provide for our survival

Inertial guidance

Together once, and forever

As i believe was always meant to be
Without either one of us losing pride

Having sold our souls
In compromise
