Imagine

Seema Tabassum 1974 (Hyderabad)

Imagine there's a rainbow
Of colours bright and dim
Imagine there's a stallion
Galloping on it's hues
Imagine there's a girl
and she is true
Imagine, she loves you
Will she sew
Will she stitch
Will she become the witch
She was always the witch
Not the wicked sniggering mama
Remember Banana Rama, The Group
Pop group of the eighties
Live a happy Life
Live a pleasant Life
Become a muslim
Love Islam until you die
Am I right

The 'Imagine' poem was a real pleasure to read due to its colorful language and appealing use of vivid imagery. It's impressive how you took this idea and turned it into a beautiful, emotionally evocative journey through imagination and memory. The spontaneous insertion of a 1980s pop group, Banana Rama, was unexpected yet delightful, adding a pleasant touch of nostalgia.

However, there are a few areas of the poem that could benefit from strategy improvement. While the poem is a wonderful blend of nostalgia, imagination, and playfulness, its theme fluctuates somewhat, moving from horses to love, and then to religion. This can make it a bit challenging for readers to fully follow your intended message.

Also, perhaps you might wish to make your verses more cohesive. The sudden change in theme from a girl to becoming a Muslim could confuse some readers and might divert from the overall flow of the poem.

Lastly, pay attention to the grammar, especially when referring to 'it's hues', should ideally be 'its hues' for possession.

Keep up the good work, and I'm sure you'll continue to develop your poetic voice. Your creativity shines through in this piece, and it's delightful to see how you play with imagination. Writing a perfect poem takes time and practice. Keep pushing the boundaries of your ideas, and remember to stay consistent with your theme. Great job, and looking forward to reading your next piece.
