I Sit And Quietly Weep

I know I can’t deny it,
My pain and sadness seep,
Especially in the darkness,
I sit and quietly weep.

I want to hear your voice,
I want to see your eyes,
If I had one more choice,
You’d  be here right by my side.

I believe you are with family,
Looking down from heaven above,
Watching us trying to live,
It’s so difficult without your love.

Although I tried to hide it,
My grief is still so deep,
Especially in the darkness,
I sit and quietly weep.

This conveys the feelings felt at not being with that loved one. The poem is a sad one but understandable thus.
Good poetic language to tell the situation is seen in this.
