A Twister and the Lord

Their house was shaking, hearts were breaking.
So much had been destroyed.
They can rebuild with faith instilled
God's love felt in the void.

Some injuries including knees
Were causing them much pain.
They made their way for help that day,
As it began to rain.

The hospital seemed nearly full
Of those injured that night,
Where they saw those with blood-soaked clothes.
So many filled with fright,

And yet no one said God had shun
His people who were hurt.
Nor did He leave them all to grieve.
His love He did assert!
