Seeking, Straining, Achieving

I once was seeking, often speaking
Of my need for God above.
Yet, plans were dying, I was trying.
With pride and not His Dove.

So much straining and complaining,
What was I doing wrong?
Much loss of hope, and end of rope.
I guess I was headstrong.

But with believing, much achieving.
God showed me the way,
To have the peace He does release
With faith in Him each day!
