Impart

Racism
Is cynicism
It's a lesson
That is taught
A planted vile thought
Something that your mind has bought

In the beginning
Before we learned sinning
We had no idea
To hate one another
Everyone was our brother

Then as we grew
The lessons began
Of who to hate
What particular man

Be it color, culture or creed
We impart each other
With that wicked seed
That grows within us
Till the day we die
It's unnatural
To perpetuate such a lie
That your better than you or I

The cycle continues
From birth to death
A stabbing of hatred
With your last breath

Hatred is a hunger
That can't be fed
It is only full
When your dead

There is nothing further
To be said
It is simply where society
Wishes to be led

Eric (and sometimes not)
