Worst Fear

My worst fear is the death of the one who taught me to live
Picked me up and breathed spirit into my young mind
Carried my dreams high up to the skies
Admired me like they were looking at the stars
Traced, questioned, and loved me for all of my scars
Unhappy moments don't exist when I'm in their arms
Whispered all of their wishes to me
Pulled me close in the dark
Told all of my fears just to go away
Wake up with the sun on your face to see me a morning mess
Stay up day and night to hear all my fantasies
Answer any question that comes to me
Sing me lyrics like they're your words
Help me through all my hurt
