Hold on Now

Kimberly Tenold 2008 (Missouri)

Hold on now
'Cause love is like a tornado
Tie down anything you prise,
Winds that whisper through your hair
Grab you just to pull you
Into your chaotic mind's affair
Sweep your feet away
Just like that night
That could've happened anywhere
Dance in the dark
With stars that sing the songs
Clouded by a heavy rain's cover
Thunder roars like screams
To which some would say have no means
Fighting through the night
In a feild full of devastation
Nothing's how it was
And you can't get back what is now lost
Gone with no recovery
Records is all there's left to see
