Buzz

Joe Strickland 1986 (Hobbysville, SC)

Why?
Buzz.
Human beings talking.
Senseless.
Senselessness in the buzz.
Talking buzz of senseless beings.
Why?

About this poem

The only thing we know is that they are talking senseless, but why or what led to it? The poem does not say. It is like saying, " People are fighting" and leave it at that. This poem is not complete; it needs more elaboration.

I wanted the poem to be short and sweet. Essentially, so many conversations simply have no meaning. People talk and talk but they talk about nothing. Thank you for your comment and advice
