Dragon Slayer

Some things in life will break me
Some things in life will make me
I have to cling to what saves
Till the broken learns the waves

Jesus you’re my savior…
My mighty Dragon slayer…
Evil flees in your name!
Evil flees in your name!
On the cross we hang together
My sins forgiven forever…
My mighty dragon slayer!
You’re my mighty dragon slayer

There’s times I must let go
There’s times I just don’t know
But knowing is hanging on and believing
As God clears the fog from the deceiving

 Jesus you’re my savior…
My mighty Dragon slayer…
Evil flees in your name!
Evil flees in your name!
On the cross we hang together
My sins forgiven forever…
My mighty dragon slayer! You’re my mighty dragon slayer

Glory to the Lamb! Your poem is a witness to the power of the cross and the final victory Jesus won for us. I find the repetition of stanzas 2 & 4 well thought, as it emphasizes the theme of "Jesus... the mighty slayer"
