What Should Be Known

What should be known,
By grown men and women.

Appearing to be,
Conscious, common sense thinking people.
Has become,
Just another assumption that welcomes...
Our own disappointments made.

What should be known,
But is not expected to discover this accepted...
As a confession to make it,
By a college professor, airline pilot, banker...
Or anyone caught surprised to receive,
Divorce papers.

What it is that should be known to ensure,
Unexpected reactions to prevent...
A demanding of evidence and proof,
Of having some knowledge to qualify...
The difference between,
Acquiring to achieve documented skills.
Certified.
And...
Imitating to have an expertise,
That pleases to satisfy all but claims...
There are times no one is prepared,
To introduce and explain which lies to tell...
Are inappropriate to reveal them told,
When people are praying...
That someone believing the time has come,
For the need of truth to hear it said...
With no safety net to catch the ones,
Happy to live life fictioned to delude.
What else is there but prayer.
Done to hope,
God is Omni-present.
And all knowing to let it known,
His awareness to guarantee...
Every confession to hear heard,
Are not meant for everyone...
To pay attention to them to realize,
Hypocrites are everywhere.
Trying to convince any audience to find,
Willing to give up their time...
Listening to confessions publicly to do.
After being refused a forgiveness given,
By a spouse, mate, lover, mistress or others.
Who have been deceived, cheated upon...
Used and thought as fools for years.

'Please.
Before you start.
Or believe this nonsense to hear it is new.
It isn't.
I once had been told,
If everyday seems like it offers...
Nothing but lemons,
Sour and bitter to the taste?
Coming at you from every direction?
Invest in a small pocket knife, some salt.
Gin, vodka, or tequila carried in a flask.'

''Are you a new member here?
I am.
So warm.
So inviting the ambiance."

'No.
I'm related to the minister.
And for years,
The warmth of the ambiance I have learned...
To sip on it very slowly.'
