Weeping Angel

Bright Amber eyes like an evening sky
Hair you can’t see when it gets dark outside
Wings, dark with dirt,
your heart, far from the light
When the day creatures sleep, you come alive
I love watching the sun set into night

Beautiful Angel fallen from the sky
I offer you my heart to purify
She took me to heaven, took me up high
Last night in the dark, staring at the sky

I should have walk passed and left you to be
As you were crying alone in the streets
Grueling days since you had a bite to eat
After you fell and broke your pretty wings
Now, as I speak, tears that run down your cheek
Are forced and fake,
you just want to please me
Look me in my human eyes as you cry
Evil, evil being
Weep Angel,
weep

Sexy Angel, wings damaged from the fall
Never should have fell from heaven above
Living in this evil world takes it’s toll
Now I don’t know who you are anymore
Fallen gorgeous Angel who lost her soul
I miss my beautiful heavenly girl

About this poem

This poem is about a love story between a human and an Angel. It shows how everybody has the capacity to change for the better or for the worse, even if you believe otherwise. This world is far from perfect and so are the people who live in it as well. 10 syllable rule.
