My Love

I loved you in the dew of morn
with flowers I would you adorn
I loved you in the melting spring
your flowers I forgot to bring
I loved you in the summertime
your love to me is sweet as wine
I loved you in the autumn fall
our love to us is one and all
I loved you in the eventide
my love for you will “ere abide
I loved you in the midnight hour
again I did forget the flower
I’ll love you on from dusk till dawn
my love for you goes on and on
A new day brings your love to me
from which I’ll take on bended knee
I’ll love you till the end of time
forever after you’ll be mine

A sweet poem of love with a good rhyme-scheme and some beautiful poetic lines. One has to admire how simple the lines are but they they not sound trivial and the poem is a pleasure to read.
