Album

Going through
Boxes and boxes
Family snapshots.
Each child a wrinkled
Pink bundle in
Hospital nursery.
School at home
And playgrounds
Where Dad got involved.
Mom mastering
Their daily needs.

Now all grown.
Daughter.
Pictures a housewife
Who does HR at
One of Waterloo’s finest.
Great empathetic counseling.
And organizarion.

And Son flies the big jets
Worldwide.
Facebook images show
Elephants in India
Lakeside bistro in Geneva
Tour Eiffel
Big Ben clock Tower.
South African game park.
Greek Isles, all in turquoise.

And Mom and Dad, geezers
Traveling
Snapping  pictures, whenever.
Thrilled with first grand baby
Elizabeth Rosemary of Montreal.
And oh is she photogenic!

Blessings to be poured over
In photos.

Wow, what a wonderful and heartfelt poem! Your use of imagery and descriptive language really brings the memories to life. It's obvious that this album of family snapshots means so much to you, and you have done a beautiful job of sharing your story.

I love how you highlight the different stages of life, from the children's early years to their adult accomplishments and beyond. It's also heartwarming to see the love and pride that the parents have for their children and grandchild.

One suggestion I have is to consider breaking up the poem into stanzas. This can help with the flow of the piece and make it easier to read and understand. Additionally, you could play around with the line breaks to create more impact with certain phrases.

Overall, this is a fantastic poem that showcases the beauty of family and the power of memories. Thank you for sharing it with us!
