Grasshoppers

As you do your own things throughout the day, the voices and sounds began to say. Things from the past and taunts your future. Even though it might have hated you, but you did nothing to her.

You exist, and they pop, they skip and jump into you like the grasshoppers that hop. Either trying to hide, or just to give nasty side eyes and then to deny they did anything anytime.

The days are shorter, the nights are long. The days get hotter and the dark gets darker. Mini little pops like rop rocks in the mouth as they use their weapons just to have clout. Flies around bugging just to do some monitoring, the wicked gets colder just to please their master.

As the echoes of the repeats from everything one speaks just to say I did it all even though it's written on sheets. Paper needs to be used to document the papers being spent, it all gets in your head like the whispers of the...

...Next slide is what I was going to say, so let it be said they hop like grasshoppers, dine in the mind, body and soul within.

Shanique L Marshall

I have been writing poems, music, and in the process of writing a book for many years. I learned to incorporate different styles of writing, and combined them into one. Some of my writings will either be about my passion, my everyday festivities, food, to even devices. I find that writing has given me a sense of release with my emotions, or the experiences I have encountered over the years of my life. I hope you can enjoy my work, and maybe find some kind of relation to it, so you can feel what I felt. more…
