The Scary Truth of Sweet Lies: The Immobilization of the Sleep Chronicles (Summary)

The records in my head, the sounds of the undead. The beating of the drums, the deep visions as they come.

The dreams that I see are so believable best believe, you can taste, and smell... you can truly tell. I can see you, the way your eyes are blue, from red, and gold, even bright white too.

The shapes and sizes reflect the religions, the sights seen are like a mirror versions. The opposite side from left to right, happen when all your chakras are open especially at night.

The scary truth of sweet lies like Goodnight baby, sleep tight don't let the bedbugs bite, or good boys and girls get to see Santa and have Christmas delights, or the tooth fairy who gives you money for your precious pearly whites, that's right.

Laying in sleep is like next to death... a deep sleep paralysis, can't move, or speak, while demons are dancing, hovering over you in your deepest darkest sleep.

Just to wake up and forget, then think, where did I park my car last week. Even worse getting scared of your own fart, and they say how its sweet.

The face of death as he plays hide and go seek, or peak a boo might make you shriek.

So sweet dreams little dear, tomorrow promises to no one, just say your prayers and hope that you have one.

Shanique L Marshall

I have been writing poems, music, and in the process of writing a book for many years. I learned to incorporate different styles of writing, and combined them into one. Some of my writings will either be about my passion, my everyday festivities, food, to even devices. I find that writing has given me a sense of release with my emotions, or the experiences I have encountered over the years of my life. I hope you can enjoy my work, and maybe find some kind of relation to it, so you can feel what I felt. more…
