Is my love selfish or a punishment?
Another day I am in love
With a name of the date of love’s existence, I await
As the rhyme of time whispers; no, love can not wait
My companion hides behind a mask of risk
As if under a spell that repels love’s bliss
Blinded sight in her eyes
She looks through me as if I weren't alive
The love you are denying is mine
Though reality separates love and time
Aching within me is your love, it is divine
You are the only fertilizer of my vine
Am I selfish
To crave your love instinctively
To be drawn to the trail of your sight
To follow the scent of your whispers
That your sensual spirit energizes me with delight
You’ve induced my sensual spirit
You opened the door and allowed my soul to see
That expressing my love for you Isn't in vain
Because I found love for you and myself on this day
Is this selfish
I don’t have the answer to the question
In love, are we
I have to ask you to answer my soul’s question
My love,
