Inappropriate

Kelley, you're being inappropriate

Be quiet

What I heard, shut your mouth kid

Don't speak up

Don't defend yourself

Don't question adults

Kelley, you talk too much

Ok, I'll shut up. I'll never speak again.

They hate me, everyone does

No one wants to listen to me, especially authority

No one wants to back me up

I'm always now looking for the flaws in systems

Some of them have no flaws

But I look at the leadership and look for bad things

I'm sick of feeling like a bad little boy

It's making me physically sick

I don't like being hated for defending myself and speaking my mind

I don't like being negative, but what would you do if you were so persecuted, mistreated, victimized and used as I was?

I didn't know how else to react, mother. This is all I know how to do

Yell into the ether until someone shuts me down and tells me to shut up

Make inappropriate comments, share too much, and sabotage my relationships

It's all a cry for help and understanding

For someone else to feel what I've felt

For someone to recognize that what I've been through is extremely painful and wrong

Yes, there is no such thing as a victim, but there is such a thing as pain
