The Introduction of Tee

I WAS, I am, & I’m never ashamed
My life, my choice, no one else is to blame
I speak out for awareness, it was never for fame
The good outweigh the bad yet they still tarnish my name

I loved hard, I fell weak,
Though I never stayed down
I got up, my heart bruised,
& still Adjusting my crown

Cried on my hands and knees
When there was no one around
Searched for peace within my heart
& it was GOD that I found

Prayed for my forgiveness
Cuz I’m not of this earth..
Questioned my decisions
& acknowledged my worth

My Kids who want for nothing, they’re the reason I changed
Who I WAS, I’m NO MORE, yet I’m NEVER ashamed
Of the trials, tribulations, everything  I overcame
No red carpet, or glamour yet I accomplished the same
A Master of the rebounds that could drive most insane
& When they mention me, the “FNP” goes at the end of my name
