Mariyum Kaleem Toor 2002 (Lahore)

I have a friend so green
But he is afraid to be seen
His long neck is so lean
I have a friend so green

Beside him I look like a bean
When the other kids are mean
He picks me up like a queen
I have a friend so green

When I sleep and dream
In my dreams I am fifteen
I have a friend so green

Mother told me to clean
I found an old magazine
He was on the pages in between
I have a friend so green

I often saw him on the screen
In the TV he only scream
They don’t know him well it seem
I have a friend so green
