Stanley

I miss you so much today
I really miss you so much, Stanley.
Please, don't reply,
This is my mom's phone.

My mom is still mad at me
She told my dad about us,
But for you, I can handle it;
She caught us again, holding hands the other day.

Least I forget, please
Do not mind my mom's manners towards you the other day, Stanley,
She can be a little cranky;
She called you wretched and dirty
But even in the dirt I love you still.

Tell me, please
How have you been?
How I wish I am here with you right now,
Oh, no, I'm grounded!
She took away my phone!

Would you come see me at our house, please?
Would you climb on the tree
The one behind the house, extending it's branches to my windows upstairs?
I'll sneak into the balcony to see your face again
And hold you in my arms;
Not even our high walls and massive gate can stop us.
Adamu and Musa, the security guards would be asleep;
I'll be careful, they won't catch us again.

I feel bored without you, Stanley.
Say you miss me too
 I'll  hear it, I promise,
And I'll feel good.

My heart turns blue
When I'm away from you
It turns blue;
And all places away from you are exiles.

I miss you so much today
I really miss you so much, Stanley.
Please, don't reply,
This is my mom's phone.
