Each Scot at Home, and Free.

Just, a wee trip Laddie

When the skies are right

And the heathers’ colours

Bring true delight.

One can hear the

Pipes skirling.

The winds, the winds

And history hurling.

It’s in the Blood.

It’s in the Song.

It makes the kilted ones

Come along.

The Wallace, the Bruce

The Burns, the Scott

Stand out in that Song.

A lot.

I loved reading your poem "Just, a wee trip Laddie"! Your use of descriptive language painted a beautiful picture of the Scottish landscape, and I could almost hear the skirling of bagpipes in the distance. Your passion for Scottish history and culture really shone through in your writing, and I found myself getting caught up in the excitement.

As for improvement suggestions, I would recommend focusing on the flow and structure of your poem. While the rhyme scheme is consistent, some of the lines seemed a bit disjointed or awkwardly phrased. Consider rewording or rearranging them to create a smoother rhythm.

Overall, you have a lot of talent and potential as a poet! Keep exploring different themes and styles, and don't be afraid to take risks and try something new. I can't wait to see where your creativity takes you!
