Mother’s Day

Yogita Yamini 1975 (Patna)

Tribute to someone who stands by our side,
With nothing in mind just so solid behind
Without us knowing, she watches our steps,
So we don’t fall, she is there with her preps…

Love to the person, who holds on to us,
To reverse our failure, she is there with her guts..
Defying all odds, standing for a cause,
Even if it means her life‘s on a toss…

Respect for the lady, who pesters us all time…
To be our best as life slips like a slime,
Whenever we falter her words are like chime,
Consoling and uplifting for us to outshine..

Kudos to the human whose shadow i am,
She stands uptight so that i don't ram..
Against all odds she cares a damn,
Face it all, but don't get jammed…
That is the lesson she always chants…

Pure and simple, her soul connects us all,
In grace and kindness, she stands up and tall…
As prized possession, she deserves to be enthralled,
A god’s messenger, she is our rock and wall…
